A longtime health care leader and one of the region’s biggest advocates for children and healthier communities is the Courier’s 2022 Health Care Heroes Lifetime Achievement Award winner. Congratulations to Michael Fisher, who has spent nearly 12 years at the helm of Cincinnati Children’s, the region’s largest hospital, a $2.7 billion nonprofit with a workforce of 16,500, before retiring from his CEO post in November.
