Yin Yoga is a slow paced meditative style of yoga where poses are held for longer periods of time allowing you to connect with your breath and the sensations within your body. It is based on principles of Chinese medicine and the deep stretching targets deep connective tissues, like fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It improves overall well-being and releases tensions held in the body.
No prior experience necessary. All levels welcome!
Have a mat/carpet, blocks and a strap handy (can be replaced by a scarf and 2 big books or shoe boxes).
You need a Google Account and a gmail email address to attend.
